The Babysitters Club

I've been watching my nephew for the past few days, and one thing I've noticed is, little kids are
very picky in what they want to watch. I used to think it was simple. I thought any cartoon was
good enough to hold their attention, WRONG! At least these toons keep his attention for a grip.

Bun B x The Hundreds

Okay, first and foremost "I AM NOT HATING!" Make sure you refer back to my quote once you're d-
one reading what this entry is about. We all know (if you've noticed The Hundreds' movements) th-
at they've been doing some pretty nice collabs. For example, they just did a collaboration with Di-
sney. I personally didn't buy the shit, but I will show them their props. It was pretty shocking when I saw that they were doing a collab with Disney; but that ultimately means they're doing something right, right?  They now have a collab with Bun B. I have NOTHING against dude, but why Bun B?! What made him the icon of streetwear and sneakers all of a sudden? I'm not hating, I'm just really confused.  It pretty much happened overnight (or maybe I haven't been eyeing his footsteps). He's had a lot of appearances on a lot of different things since 2006, and that's the year I've noticed hi-
m getting bigger and bigger in the streetwear community. Am I the only one that noticed this? W-
ell, I know I'm not, because me and a friend of mine talked about this same issue a while ago, and they felt the same way. Also, who the hell is supporting this? Are you supporters even buying Bun B's albums?  Or did the shit all start for you after Pimp C died? I'm not hating, I just I don't get it.

Don't bother commenting on this if you have no knowledge on what I'm talking about.  I want to s-
ee comments from people that feel the same way as me, or people that can fill me in.  Also, big ups to Stones Throw.  I had a feeling I would use the image below for a good purpose; I sure did.

For Ear Sake

THEOPHILUS LONDON - JAM!

I'm actually listening to the mixtape while I'm making this entry. I must say, it's pretty damn good;
mainly because not only do I like dude as an artist, but I love the production. If you're into the wh-
ole Prince/New Wave era, you'll really dig this mixtape. I'm pro Prince, so this is right up my alley. My favorite Prince track "I Would Die 4 U" is on here. It's something different and refreshing, sorta.

PS: It's not all Prince production, but it's featured on here a tad bit. Just a heads up to the ones
that may not be into the whole Prince thing.  You'll hear some sounds of Mike Jackson as well.

Benny Gold Doughboy New Era

I have a serious hat fetish, if you haven't noticed by now. I'm slowly but surely getting my hat coll-
ection up. This is the new Benny Gold New Era, which was inspired by Doughboy from the movie
Boys In The Hood. The New Era sold out in a matter of minutes, so good luck on trying to get your
hands on one (not saying you won't be able to 100%). The embroidery underneath is sickening.

You can always check out the Benny Gold blog to see updates on different shops getting a ship-
ment of the hats in.  They were available on the actual Benny Gold website, but sold out in a ma-
tter of minutes.  I won't be negative by saying your luck ran out in scoring one; good luck though.

For Ear Sake

This post is a little different from the other album posts, because it's not four albums in one.  So please remember the title of every album download entry I post, because the title shall remain the same, but the format of the entry may change from time to time.  So be prepared in the future.

MELO-X - MUSTAFA'S RENAISSANCE

This mixtape is down right disrespectful to any other musicians that dropped a mixtape this ye-
ar.  I more than recommend you guys to partake in downloading MeLo-X's mixtape.  It's a direct
order from yours truly (me).  If my iTunes enabled me to rate higher than 5-stars, this mixtap wo-
uld've gotten more.  The whole vibe of it is crazy ill; nice tunes, hard lyrics, great appearances.
The whole 9.  There's not that much more I can say.  Get it!  You won't be disappointed in it; thi-
s is coming from someone that usually doesn't rock to the whole "mixtape" thing, but it's that nice.

NIKKI NTU - A HISTORY OF DREAMS (sampler)

Nikki Ntu is on to great things in the near future.  I won't spoil it by saying anymore.

Rambling Somethings

I've been having the need to put in more written entries, even though I really don't like to over-talk
too much, but there's something missing. What sets this blog apart from any other blog? Or better
yet, what sets each entry apart from the last? I've been feeling real repetitive lately, and I haven't
really been feeling a lot of the entries I've been sharing with you guys. It seems like I've been sho-
wing off too much Photography, and not enough universal topics. Not just topics in general, but e-
ven universal in the art world. It seems like I show the same type of photography, even if it's done by different photographers. I guess it's my taste? Yeah, maybe my taste is repetitive. My life as of right now is repetitive (eat, shit, kiss my dogs, kiss my girlfriend, sex, sleep), so maybe I need to ch-
ange my swag.  Put more pep in my step. Put less Quaker Oats in my boat. Wait, my taste in music isn't repetitive.  You guys don't know what the fuck I might throw you guys next. I'll go from Bon Jo-
vi to Biz Markie.  I'll go from Prince to Queen. I'll go from Seal to Shark (LOL). Okay, I'm rambling a little too much, but before I stop completely with my rambling, I just want to ask you guys, is this blog becoming repetitive?  Just leave a comment with your true opinions.  KEEP IT CRUNCHY!

Wait, maybe it isn't repetitive.  I might feel this way due to the fact that I'm the one blogging?  There's a lot of entries you guys will never see, because they're drafted instead of posted, but I know what those entries are, and maybe I'm basing everything off of that as well as what is actually posted.  Okay, I'm still rambling, but this time I'm rambling in italic.  Leave a comment anyway if you feel the need to.  Your comments are wanted.

SQUEAK THE MOUSE & MF DOOM

Nike Air Terra Abrupt

It never gets any better than to find a good pair of sneakers for dirt cheap.

Runnin' & Gunnin' Nike Air Stab

The artwork featured on the Air Stabs were done by Eric Elms. I've had my pair for a while now, a-
nd they're pretty ill. The only bad thing about the sneaker is, the midsoles crack after being worn.

King Ken Mini by Amos

I purchased three King Ken Minis before the Holidays, and I believe they reached my house on
Christmas Eve. Too bad I wasn't home to wake up to a unexpected UPS package. The coo th-
ing about the King Ken Minis is, it's a blind box. You don't know which one you get until you op-
en them up. I'm glad I didn't get the same colorway more than once. You can actually order them
on Ebay, but it takes the fun out of not knowing what you'll receive. But, considering I have three
different colors, I might just cheat and get the rest on Ebay, because my chances of getting the u-
nknown color as well as the remaining three colors are very very slim. Playing along was fun.
